Leveraging our wide operational territory reach, PS decided to buy a home in the luxury Cashiers, NC market. Having done its analysis, PS knew this classic 3bed/3.5bath cabin, an easy, paved and flat 10 minutes to downtown Cashiers would be a win once we employed our Peak Method to maximize its potential. It had been previously operated by Vacasa, but was only doing $170/night on weekends and was drastically underperforming, remaining almost completely empty except for select weekends. PS has since completely turned the home around, reaching 85% occupancy, average weekend pricing of $250-300 and weekday prices of $150-200. PS achieved this by making smart investments including redesigning the interior layout to create a game room out of a loft, and adding the additional sleeping to the basement room, building a walk-out deck and adding a brand new hottub and custom fire pit, and completely reimagining and redesigning the exterior landscape design and adding additional parking. We also resided the home in low maintenance but beautiful siding, replaced the gutters, and replaced all metal roof screws ensuring a low maintenance, high quality asset for years to come. By capturing the essence of outdoor luxury living through gorgeous design and outdoor lighting, dining, and furniture, PS once again turned a mediocre performer into a cash cow. Guests have been raving, and we're thrilled to open our doors and WOW them with the experience.
